Greater Meriden CCW (Meriden, CT)
Several members of the Greater Meriden Council of Catholic Women recently attended the Corpus Christi walk from Holy Trinity Church to SS Peter & Paul Church, both in Wallingford, CT. St. Joseph the Worker CCW (West Jordan, UT)
Several women from St. Joseph the Worker CCW attended the annual DCCW Convention in Salt Lake City. They were inspired by a variety of speakers, talking on relevant topics.
Blessed Trinity CCW (Jacksonville, FL)
The women of CCW at Blessed Trinity celebrated their year-end Mass with our Spiritual Advisor and Pastor, Father Matt King. Fr. Matt continues to provide spiritual blessings and support for everything we do. These fabulous women worked tirelessly all year serving our Lord in the many ministries within our Parish family and community. Our Annual Fund Raiser was an overwhelming success and provides the necessary funds to continue doing His work next year. We look forward to our next year of serving, leading and spiritual enrichment.
Catholic Woman’s Club of Racine (Franksville, WI)
At its monthly luncheon meeting on May 11, 2024 the Catholic Woman’s Club of Racine, Wisconsin, honored three priests observing milestone anniversaries of their ordination. All three priests have served, or presently serve, as spiritual director for the organization. Fr. Richard Molter (center) began his priestly ministry at St. Edward Parish in Racine from 1964-1970. He returned as pastor of St. Edward in 1993 and retired from St. Edward Parish in 2006. Fr. Molter celebrated the 60th anniversary of his ordination with a Mass and luncheon at St. Edward on Sunday, June 2. Fr. Terry Huebner (right) who retired in 2017 as pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, observed the 50th anniversary of his ordination with a Mass and luncheon at St. Sebastian Parish on May 26. (In an interesting footnote, Fr. Huebner was an altar boy at Fr. Molter’s Mass of Thanksgiving / First Mass at the former St. Leo Parish in Milwaukee.) Fr. Allen Bratkowski (left) is marking the 35th anniversary of his ordination. Fr. Allen retired as pastor of St. Edward and St. Richard parishes in 2019.
St. Boniface CCW (Springfield, GA)
On Monday evening, May 20, St. Boniface CCW (Springfield, GA) hosted a Mother Daughter banquet. The theme was Hawaiian so everyone was given a flower lei to wear. Parishioners Sandra Kowalski and daughter Nicole Knight are pictured in front of the statue of Our Mother Mary.
St. Mary’s CCW (Sleepy Eye, MN)
St. Mary’s CCW in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, held an evening of Wine, Women and Worship on May 3. Guest speaker Emma Oglesby shared how infertility and miscarriage played a part in her faith journey and challenged us to view any of our struggles as an invitation to dive into our relationship with God more fully.
Our Lady of Fatima CCW (Alcoa, TN)
Our Lady of Fatima CCW in Alcoa, Tennessee held its end-of-year Social/General Meeting on May 13th. We celebrated a successful year with tasty tacos, ice cream sundaes, and a fun ice breaker. In honor of the anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima, we prayed the rosary together for our priests and in coming new bishop, accompanied by music from our harpist, Kim Adamson.
Diocese of Pensacola Tallahassee CCW (Tallahassee, FL)
Recipients of the 2024 Golden Rose Award in the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee were presented with certificates and roses by NCCW Spiritual Advisor Most Rev. William Wack and coordinated by NCCW Past President Sheila Hopkins.
New Ulm DCCW (New Ulm, MN)
For over a decade, the Diocese of New Ulm, Minnesota has been blessed with the presence of the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus.
